‘Parent Space’ is a pilot workshop series for parents, carers and early years educators.
It’s open to anyone from the Easton community, not just families registered with us.
We wanted to respond to parent requests - to help support families to thrive. There will be six workshops, alternating between Saturday mornings and Monday evenings between July 2019 and January 2020.
The series of workshops intends to:
build confidence and an understanding of child development
provide a space to reflect on the joys and challenges of becoming a parent
help to create a child-centred and consistent environment in which all our children can thrive
remind us to look after ourselves along the way too …
Please note: so that you can get the most out of them, these workshops are child-free spaces so please make your own arrangements for childcare.
Parent Space Workshops are generously supported by Quartet Community Foundation
where & when?
The workshops will take place at Raised in Easton nursery on Saturday mornings and Monday evenings – please check the details when you book. Each workshop includes refreshments and some time to chat.
The workshops are offered free on a first come, first served basis.
You need to register for each workshop you want to come to and pay a returnable deposit of £5 per workshop. You can register below.
As we expect to have a waiting list, we ask that you let us know (with at least 24 hours’ notice) if you can’t attend a workshop that you’ve registered to come to. We can then offer it to someone on the waiting list. If you don’t let us know, your £5 deposit for that workshop will be forfeited.
