Opening in early January 2018, Raised in Easton is a new 35 place nursery for children aged 1-5 years old. To ensure continuity for your child, each place will be available for a minimum of two days (or four half days) per week.
Register your child here.
8am-6pm (half day sessions: 8am-1pm; 1pm-6pm)
We're open 51 weeks of the year. We're closed between Christmas and New Year and on all UK Bank Holidays.
Each half day session includes a hot meal: lunch in the morning session and tea in the afternoon session. We'll also provide healthy snacks and drinks (milk and water).
The Annex was originally built as a nursery when Easton Community Centre opened in 1989. It’s been used for many things since and is currently being refurbished and re-equipped as a nursery once more for our grand opening in January 2018.
The main nursery room is large, bright and airy, and designed to feel homely at the same time. Double doors open out into the enclosed private courtyard, full of plants, a mud kitchen and plenty of space to run around.
The Head of Nursery, Nicola Brimble, is a keen forest school teacher and looking forward to making the most of the wonderful natural environment surrounding the building.
Our nursery is on two floors, made fully accessible by a lift.
Raised in Easton is located within the Easton Community Centre building, in the Annex. We’re right next to the Bristol-Bath cycle path and Owen Square Park. Access to the nursery will be either through a private entrance to the side of the building, or through the community centre itself.
Raised in Easton is managed and delivered by Raised in Bristol. Raised in Bristol and Easton Community Centre are two different organisations working in partnership to make sure we deliver an excellent service designed specifically for the people of Easton.
