The Raised in Easton team continues to grow as we welcome more children into our nursery. We're looking for a full time early years educator (degree qualified) or early years practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join us at our nursery in Easton Community Centre.

Purpose of the role: to plan, deliver and evaluate activities and learning experiences for a group of children aged 1 - 5 years. To observe and support the development of the children and ensure their safety and welfare.

Salary: £17,600 pa (Level 2) / £18,450 pa (Level 3 and above)

nursery cleaner - deadline 6pm 20 May 2018

Raised in Easton is growing fast and we now need to recruit an experienced cleaner to join the team and help create a lovely environment for local children to enjoy.

Hours:  a total of six hours per week - one hour per evening on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings (after 6 pm), plus three hours on a Saturday or Sunday for a more thorough clean of the nursery.

Job description – each session:

  1. To vacuum clean and mop all floors
  2. To clean all toilets – adult and children’s

In addition, in the longer session:

  1. To clean all surfaces including doors, skirting boards, fridges, windows
  2. Occasional spot cleaning of rugs
  3. Any other duties that you or the nursery staff members identify

Person specification

  • Reliable person, able to take responsibility for the job
  • Willing to take a pride in being part of the team
  • Able to work alone
  • Experienced cleaner
  • Will need to have a DBS check in order to work with Raised in Easton team

Salary: £9.39 per hour (including allowance for holiday and bank holiday pay)

We are looking to build our bank of early years practitioners to provide additional childcare support on an ad-hoc and flexible basis, for example to cover staff training, holidays or sickness. 

Minimum Level 2 in an appropriate qualification

Hourly rate: £9.39        

Hours: flexible between 8 am and 6 pm Monday - Friday
