Introducing our new food provider from April…

Drum roll, please… We’re very excited to announce that our new nursery food provider from April will be the Bianchis Group with Cucina Bambini!

As you’ll know, Bianchis are a well-established and much-loved local Bristol institution – running several successful family-owned restaurants across the city. From Pasta Ripiena, Bianchis and Cotto to the newly opened Pazzo alongside their Centrale catering business in Easton.

The team will be providing fresh meals and snacks for all of our Raised in Bristol nurseries under the banner of Cucina Bambini – their new dedicated Early Years kitchen. They’ll be continuing the same strong values and standards of Early Years nutrition whilst, of course, using local high-quality and seasonal produce.

“Having worked in the education catering sector for five years in London before I returned home to Bristol and started the Bianchis Group. I’m really excited to jump back into it.

We are a family-run business. Growing up in Bristol, our roots were nurtured through a strong sense of community and food was always at the centre of everything we did.

When Raised in Bristol approached us to work with them it was clear from the start that our ethics and standards were very alike and we were immediately inspired to develop the business idea of Cucina Bambini.

We have a large central kitchen in the heart of Easton with a great team of chefs who cook daily for our restaurants with plenty of capacity and space to take on more, so we can't wait to start cooking for the kids!”

– Chef Ben Harvey, Bianchis Group

We at RiB are also really excited about this new partnership – if you’ve eaten at any of the Bianchi’s restaurants before you’ll know the children are in for a treat.  Benevento (welcome) to the Raised in Bristol community Cucina Bambini!

On Saturday 17th February, we’ll be inviting Raised in Bristol families to come down to the hall at Easton Community Centre to meet the Cucina Bambini team for a taster and to ask any questions you may have. They’ll be running two sessions that day at 1-2 pm and 2-3 pm – we look forward to seeing you there.
